ABOUT THE CLUB

SCRATCH COMICS was created with the goal of transforming a multitude of raw basic ideas into a creative reality. In such a way, many of our own comics are born. But that's not enough, now it's time to spread it out to the entire COMIC COMMUNITY.

This is a place where artists/writers can create and showcase all their talent in the comic form. We envision a place where artists can better themselves in their own expertise and explore new ones. In that way, all artists are welcome to post their comics and showcase them. Garner compliments, receive constructive criticisms and leave having gained something important.

While I had originally envisioned Scratch Comics to be a private art group bent on working themselves to death making comics, I realized I also wanted to submerge myself to the rest of the Comic Community, so I decided while we can still be the private comic creating group, there's now reason why we can't be a public collision of great comic ideas and artists around DA! And so now, we're both!!! Must... contain... joy....

MEMBERSHIP AND SUBMISSIONS

MEMBERSHIP

This club has two basic types of members: SCRATCH CREATORS and COMMUNITY ARTISTS.

SCRATCH CREATORS!!!

These are basically the people who are in the long-term run helping create many of the Scratch comic creations. We do have our own creations after all and we strive to make it to the best of our abilities.

If anyone wishes to be part of our creative team in our comic projects, simple send us a note saying so. Remember though that it would be for the long haul, so if you want to help us in our comics, you have to be willing to stay on for at LEAST one book and be willing to submit the occasional individual artwork.


COMMUNITY ARTISTS!!!!

Now here's the fun part.

This is open for all artists and writers out there with their own comic and they are just dying to show it off (you know you want to )

To join, you must have or are planning your own comic creations.

Send us a note labeled "JOIN" and inside include the NAME of your comic if you have one.. If you already have one, include a link to the first page (if the first page is a pinup cover, include as well the first panel page). If you do not have the comic yet, simple describe to us your planned project. If you have none whatsoever and want to join as so to get one or get the idea of it anyway, well, that's still fine.

If you don't currently have a comic, just say so, and we hope that this club will provide you with the opportunity of making one

Also, you must add the Club Avatar in your journal. If you don't know how, here it is : iconscratchcomics : without the space. Also you must WATCH the club. Come on now, don't you want to know when fellow artists showcase their works and for them to know when you make yours?


That simple!!! Also, if you want to advertise your comic via banner in the Information section, you can do so. Make one by these dimensions. 250*60. Note, your comic must already be featured in the gallery for us to put it up.

So, you bought the sales pitch and are now a member. You won't regret it! Have a project nobody reads? Well I guarantee you I will, and now is the opportunity to let others as well.

Send us a note labeled "SUBMIT" and include the following.

IMPORTANT

We do not accept fanart unless it is by some way connected to your comic pages. We also only accept submissions of pinups, non-comic pages and promotional images if they are connected to one of your comic creations. REMEMBER, this club is for us to showcase our comic skills, come now, strive for more than singular images.

As of now there are no events. Well mostly because the club's brand new. But don't worry, once the community reaches new heights, we have many planned!
